About Ron

Ron’s experience in franchising began in 2003 when he attended a FranNet seminar given by Leslie Kuban in Atlanta. With the help of Leslie's coaching, Ron and his wife became owners of a nationally known franchise and successfully managed it for several years. As a prospective franchisee, he learned how to navigate the franchise selection process with the help of FranNet. Then, as a franchise owner, he learned how to plan and manage the business startup. The reward for his planning was a successfully run business that fulfilled his goals. This positive experience with FranNet brought him back, but this time to join FranNet as a FranNet consultant!

Ron began his career in the automotive industry with Chrysler Corporation, after achieving a BS degree from Cornell University and an MS degree from the University of Michigan. Also as a veteran of the aerospace manufacturing industry, he acquired a broad base of business knowledge holding a variety of progressive positions in engineering, operations, business development, and general management. Ron's corporate career and franchise experience allow him to uniquely relate to FranNet clients who are coming from the corporate environment in search of a franchise.

He lives in Orchard Park with his wife Lynn and their daughter. Ron is a Director for a manufacturing company in Pennsylvania, a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, and a member of several other community organizations.

In addition to free, one-on-one client consultations, Ron regularly conducts franchising workshops and seminars – partnering with outplacement agencies, the Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Centers, SCORE, local libraries, and more.
